Why should you drink water?
Water is essential to life. It forms an average 65% of our body weight, and we lose about 2 litres of it every day through our normal every day activities, and even more when we’re doing something extremely energetic! This fluid has to be replaced to avoid dehydration, which can be a serious condition if left untreated. Even minor cases of dehydration can leave us feeling tired & unable to concentrate.
Water is vital to our health, and is involved in almost every single bodily process and function. It enables the body to rid itself of toxins, lubricates the joints and so much more. Drinking plenty of water is also a well known beauty aid, resulting in plump and fresh looking skin, as well as a great way to contribute to a healthy weight control by ensuring that hunger is not confused with thirst.

Why should tap water be filtered?
UK tap water is highly regulated, and water experts often tell us that it is a healthy choice and of a consistently high quality. We are in agreement with this, however, we do also think that tap water doesn’t always taste great. This is usually due to the chorine content, which is added to our water supply to ensure that it reaches us in good condition.
To solve this problem, we fit all our water coolers with a sophisticated MAXI 2-stage carbon block filter, which consistently removes 99% of the chlorine. The result? An unlimited supply of fresh, great tasting water available whenever you want.
The MAXI filter also protects against all waterborne bacteria, including cryptosporidium, which has been known on rare occasions to escape the effects of chlorine.
For the tastiest hot drinks ever, you can even have your hot water dispenser fitted with a MAXI+ filter, which does all of the above, whilst also reducing the amount of scale in the water.
