Connect Water Coolers and Mencap
Connect Water Coolers are pleased to welcome Glyn Jenkins to the company, following a collaboration with Mencap to find a suitable candidate for the position of in-house Cooler Care Assistant.
Glyn now works eight hours per week at the warehouse, where he is fast becoming a popular member of the team. His responsibilities include unpacking new water coolers when they arrive at the warehouse and cleaning units returned for recycling.
Connect Managing Director, Mick De’Ath said:
“This was our first vacancy that we filled using Mencap and working with Sandra Paisley made that process very easy. Glyn came with Sandra for an informal interview where he met our team at Bicester, and it was clear from the outset that he had a wonderful personality. Glyn has brought with him an enthusiastic and careful work ethic that has been a delight to see. His willingness to learn and carry out any task has had a positive effect on the rest of us at Connect and we will continue to work with Mencap to identify candidates like Glyn whose profiles would fit future company vacancies.”
When asked what he likes most about his job, Glynn said: “I like going to work because I enjoy the different things I get to do. I also like the people I work with, I really feel like I am part of the team. “
